WHAT’S THE EPISODE ABOUT…
Hello and welcome back to The Unleashed Podcast, I am your host Kristina Sjolund and I want to thank you for taking the time out today to tune in. And I have to tell you that I had to go for a little drive before I recorded this so I could bring myself down a couple notches, because I know that if you come into something at a level of fire that people aren’t ready for you’re going to lose them, and I don’t want to lose you. But today, I’m so excited that I can hardly even contain myself.
I would imagine that everyone knows that we’re in a shift, we’re in a shift in our world that we’ve never ever, ever seen before.
Right?
You’re probably feeling it. We’re in a time of uncertainty, but like we talked about last week, you’ve got control over how you handle the situation. And today, through this whole thing, I’ve had this level of excitement that I’m like, “Oh my gosh, I cannot wait to see the outcome of this, I can’t wait to see what happens in this because I love to see opportunity in everything, and I don’t know how to explain it, it’s just everywhere I look. I try to see where is this going? To take me, what can this do to help people, what kind of opportunity is in this moment? That’s what I look for all the time.
I’m looking to see growth everywhere I am, everywhere I go. I want to see growth.
So in this time in history, because let’s just face it, let’s call a spade a spade, this is history in the making, they’re going to have history books, not just a chapter.
This is going to be an entire book in and of itself. And it could have sequel.
I’m just saying… So for myself, I feel this level of excitement and sometimes I feel bad. I have to bring my level of excitement down a little bit because I know that there are people around me who are really nervous and they’re really scared, and there’s a psychological block that I feel a lot of people have in their mind and they’ve got to break down that barrier.
They have to break down the barrier and see they are made for something more. Listen in…

• Maybe these uncertain times. You are lashing out at your loved ones, you’re frustrated with your kids, or whatever. We’ll guess what? The energy right now, we’re at like a boiling point, if you will. And for some people, they’re not going to be able to psychologically get themselves out of that and see the positive side of this, whatever is happening. (02:56)
• Are you going to allow it to take over your world? Or are you going to take advantage of this time to create something you see? I choose to totally come out of this thing busting through some doors, and making my presence known. (03:35)
• I talk to so many people all the time about opportunities, directions that they can go in their business. We put business plans together, and I was like, Oh my gosh, there’s so many people who are at home right now, they have the time to be able to do some things now where they used to not have time, when they were going to their job every day. They’re in their car, they’ve got their drive time in the morning, they’ve got their drive time in the evening, they’re tired when they get home.(05:45)
• When you can create something that is a solution for other people, and maybe these aren’t big problems, but if I saw somebody say, Hey, I’m gonna be cooking this meal and if you wanna know how to cook this and bring this to the your family’s table, I’m gonna be doing it on Tuesday night at 7 o’clock. Those who want to join, it’ll take us about an hour. I’d be like, I’m in, I’m totally down with that and I’m gonna join, and I’m probably going to share it with some friends and family, I’ll be like, “Hey I’m gonna do this class on Tuesday night. You guys in… Why not? (09:30)
• These are things that are easy, that are simple, that you can do. I mean, you can own this situation; grocery store runs for people in your community. Maybe they’re scared to go to the grocery store, but you’re not… Maybe they don’t have a mask and you do. Five bucks, you know what, even in a non-pandemic if you’re willing to do a grocery store run for me for five or 10 bucks, I am totally down with that. (12:19)
